WHY CHESS?

Chess is thinking, and chess is fun. Therefore, not surprisingly, chess is rocket fuel for developing human brains. Benefits of high quality chess instruction have been shown to include improved spatial and mathematical reasoning, as well as better decision making, self-esteem, and even higher IQ. Chess is a mental martial art that ignites the imagination and expands the mind. Now your child can begin to receive the gifts of chess in just one week from experienced teaching professionals in our Online Beginner Bootcamp.

ONLINE BEGINNER BOOTCAMP

Offered weekdays from 4 – 6 PM ET (1 – 3 PM PT), each two-hour session with our experienced instructors features three small group lessons and a fun review covering the fundamentals, e.g., how the pieces move, piece values, check and checkmate, and piece development. By the end of camp, your child will have a strong foundation for further development and will receive a certificate of completion from our Grandmaster in Residence Nigel Davies.
